Hi to Shoebury and Thorpe Bay u3a members. I’m Anthony, (Tony for short) and I have run a music appreciation group for Redbridge & District u3a for at least five years via Zoom but will be doing this live for you starting in April 2025.
Meetings are held monthly at St. Augustine’s Hall on the second Wednesday of the month with a £3.00 entrance fee covering hall hire and refreshments.
Each session has a music theme, requests, sing-a-long songs, a music quiz and some nostalgia during the refreshment break. Audience participation is the major part of the session and is welcomed. Whatever your music tastes are they should be catered for. So if you are a budding Celine Dion or a Michael Buble this is the group for you.
