Short tennis, also known as short court tennis or mini tennis, is played with different equipment than used to play standard tennis, including soft balls, lowered nets and smaller rackets. Although many of the rules are similar to standard version of the game, short tennis does have a number of rules unique to the sport.
The game is slower than standard tennis and therefore much more suitable for those of us in the "Third Age". You don't have to be an expert tennis player or a Wimbledon finalist, but if you want to get a good bit of exercise for an hour, have a good laugh and make new friends, then why not give it a try? You would be very welcome.
SESSIONS ARE HELD ON THE 2nd AND 4th THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH
